Undergraduate Programs
Our undergraduate programs provide a solid foundation in various disciplines of healthcare. The MBBS program, started in 1994, is recognized by the Medical Council of Nepal, India, and Sri Lanka. The BDS program, initiated in 1999, is recognized by the Nepal Medical Council. Our BSc Nursing program, established in 1996, is well-recognized within and outside the country, and is approved by the Nepal Nursing Council.
Postgraduate Programs
Our postgraduate programs offer advanced studies in healthcare. The MD/MS, MSc in Clinical Sciences program, started in 1999, is recognized by respective councils of Nepal, with several degrees also recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). We also offer MSc programs in Basic Sciences and Nursing, as well as a specialized MDS program with various specializations.
Other Programs
In addition to undergraduate and postgraduate programs, we offer a range of other programs. These include a PhD program started in 2011, various DM/MCh courses, fellowship programs, short-term academic programs for national and international students, doctors, and faculty members, and a strong emphasis on continuing medical education.
Services
Discover exceptional healthcare at B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS). Services include the DOTS Clinic for tuberculosis, Emergency Hospital for urgent care, and Inpatient Hospital for overnight stays. The Outpatient Department (OPD) offers expert consultations. Radiology and Laboratory Services provide diagnostics, while OT and Minor Procedure Services offer advanced surgical care. Specialized services in Cardiology, Eye, and ENT ensure top-tier healthcare across specialties.
